I have finished Pope John. I can read at a very fast speed if it is a really interesting book, and it talks to my soul.
I feel a little disappointed because I don't like the ending. I know a lot of history of the dark ages in Europe, and also many things about the Bible, pagans, and God, even though I don't believe in them. I do not like how they treated the Saxons and that they said, "Girls intelligence is inversely proportional to the size of their wombs."
I am glad that I didn't live in the same age as them. They even believed that when they were sick because God was mad at them. The end of the book said that John may be a real person, but the data was changed or destroyed, so they can't be sure.
