school's birthday

Last winter, we won the second prize and also broke the record . And now is almost the school's birthday. We are all very excited. Teacher also said she will treat us, so we practice it very hard. But it also makes us tired, and hurts a lot, so we can't us a lot of power now.

Teacher told us to rest in these two holidays.

The new lives

Mom bought some new fish. For some days, when we came back from grandma and grandpa's house we saw a lot of clear baby picoap fish. We are all surprised and happy.

YA !

I finished the test today. Jimmy got out with his friends. He was sad that he almost passed the genius test. Mom took me to New House and had lunch there. I also went back to my elementary school. My teacher was glad to see me. I was disappointed that my ping-pong teacher was not there. I also borrowed new detective stories that my friend told me about. Her mom was the best librarian that I have met.

I heard Tobey tell us about the new game store near our house. Mom took us there after we finished lunch. It looks like a little department store for kids. It had candy, desks, games, clothing ,and an ice cream shop. There is a window for people to draw, a big library, and a stage in the basement. Benny also answered their questions and won the darts game , so he got a scoop of ice cream. Jimmy and I also wanted to eat, but they said we are too big.

A long day

It was almost the test day. Because I didn't sleep well, and my classmates who sat beside me have a fever, I was sick. I had a runny nose, and it never stopped. The bad thing is I had a fever and a headache, too, so I didn't go to school. I almost slept the all day, and felt nervous about the test.

The wedding commemoration

Today was grandpa and grandma's wedding anniversary. I saw excitement and joy in their eyes. My aunt, uncle, and even grandma's family who live around here all came. This is my first time to see grandma wear a gorgeous and beautiful dress. This is their fiftieth year together.
Uncle said if we can walk a front of grandpa and grandma he will give us 500 dollars, so Benny and I walked first. Jimmy felt walking on the red rug was too childish.

We had a great dinner at a pumpkin house, and I really like their pumpkin soup. My aunt also told a joke. She said she was a critic, and we are the testers. That was fun, and it really made them believe us. I liked my aunt because she always does new things.

Physics

There is something new to learn in eighth grade. The new difficult lesson is physics. I read some books about it before, and it was fun, but right now sometimes I can't understand what our teacher is talking about. Neither can all my friends. We thought she wasn't very good, and we are all nervous. I still can ask Mom or study it by myself. I am wondering should I go to the clam class?

My snake queen

We made our own masks in art class. I remembered I had dreamed a dreadful snake woman, so I drew it. To make it the same as that woman in my memory I used pulp and paper clay to be her wrinkles. Then I put two big pointed teeth and a long red tongue on her face. Maybe the next Halloween I can wear it , after all , Mom said it is really ugly. Even though mother said that, I still like it a lot.

The nother experience

Today a designer and her two best pupils came to our class. The two little teachers are only 16 year old, but they won lots of prizes. First, they helped the girls to cut their her, and styled some handsome hair for the boys. We all felt they were so cool, but when they finished the hair-cut they told us some stories about them.

She told us that they just study for half the time we do. They work in a store and practice until 10:00 every time. They also cried many times.

Everyone should had something we can did. Someone good at learning can be study hard. Someone never stops moving can same work hard.

We went to a movie with father's office workers. We had some problems with taking the MRT because we didn't use the cards for a long time. There wasn't money inside. When we got there the clerk didn't let us in. We all felt strange , and then we know he made a big joke that they thought we will come at 9:00"pm". The movie was talking about A Japanese men loving a Taiwanese girl, but when Japan surrendered he went back . He wrote seven letters to show how he missed the girl.

The campfire party

Today was the last day of our camping. Some of the students cried, after all, we needed to say" good bye" to our leader and even the fun time. We were so happy that we won the vitality flag and did well at the campfire party.

Lots of parents and all of our teachers enjoyed the party with us, and we also learned how to bind up the place we hurt, talking with flags, and to follow the leader.

I wish I could come back another day.

The tiring camping 11-5 (W)

Today was the exciting camping day. I couldn't sleep all night, and even woke up early to check my luggage again. I was so tired. The scout lesson was solemn. We needed to finish the tent in 10 minutes and get unpacked. The leader was so fierce, but he was kind in the rest time.

When we finished the lesson for today, it was cold at night, and we had a big party. We shouted a lot, and our leader taught us some crazy games. We also got many points.

After that, it was almost 11 o'clock. All of us were so tired, and we were angry that there was no bath. We felt the tent was too little for eight people, so we didn't sleep well.

The plan of thr morning

Today I woke up very early, and I couldn't wait to see the movie High School Musical 3 with my friends. I forgot they changed the waiting place at the school, so Mom took me to the movie theater. That's not bad because I can pick the seat first. We had a lot of fun.

The Grand acting

There was an inauguration in the arena. There was a large place, many people, and even a TV broadcast. I was so excited. There were more than 5000 people and there were some cheerladers from four other schools. We had been here to practice 3 times before, but today was the funnest day. I shouted a lot very loudly.

There were a lot of other shows, too. Like Chinese performance, the cute water elves, and a cool bagpipe team.

The wonderful day

YA! I told myself when I finished the big test I could have a big playing day. I slept a long time even though I know I can't fall asleep at night. I want to read my Chinese history books, finish my pencil case, and play ping-pong. My friends also asked me to see movie High School Musical 3.

10-16

The big test day is coming. I am so nervous, so I told my self to calm down. I had a big problem about something that I am good at, but I wanted to get better. Like drawing and history, but sometimes it will made me angry, and I don't like to read the test things. Now I am better. My teacher said we will feel the things are harder in second grade. I just slept for four hours and I am so tired. I thought I will do bad on the test, but when I went to school lots of people did too, so I told myself I don't need to be perfect, just do the best I can.

10-1

Today I was so surprised that my uncle and aunt came to my house. That was because my grandma's brother died. Grandma is very sad,and so are they. My aunt came by MRT, and we drove there and picked her up. The station is so beautiful now, and we have another orange line. My aunt told me a lot of stories and showed me the the bags she made. My uncle bought apple pies and ice cream for us.

The small library

This is the most special fall. Right now I had seen four typhoons come, and there is the fifth typhoon coming here. I wished it would stay for a long time. Then I wouldn't need to go to school and it really became true.

I had three days to study my homework and play. Mom told me about the library in our apartment. Jimmy, Benny, and I went to look. It was little,and there were some people in there. I found a place with a big circle table. It is so clam there, and there are some dictionaries to look for something I don't now, so we go there every time I want to study.

The cheer squad

This is my first time to be a cheerleader, and I am so nervous. There is a world tournament in the new arena. We will act that day. I am also very excited to be the first person to join the inauguration , and had two great rock 'n roll songs for everyone. I learned it at school.

Back to the stone age

This year, we will have a big camp in October, and I am so excited about it. We will had a night party . We are going to dance, make fire and food by ourselves, but the first thing is we need to be good scouts. My scout class teacher taught me to tie ropes and to make rice with fire. She also said, "Please watch out for the vegetable oil and dish soap.

This time My friend and I thought we were back in the stone age. We used bamboo chopsticks to light the fire. It was so hard to make the chopsticks to be spiral. I always made it straight like an evergreen, and I was worn out at night, so I fell asleep. I thought I couldn't finish my homework.

I wanted to thank to my mother, after all, in the morning she helped me finish it.

★ Typhoon day★

    A typhoon is in Taiwan now. The weather is so cool. We slept very late. The TV news said it will stay for a long time. I was disappointed because father couldn't come home, after all, the airport wasn't working, and today is the time all of my    family usaully stay together and we feel safe. It was the worst Moon festival.  

The sleepy day

 I didn't have any more juice to learn things in school. This summer was too hot.  I always feel lazy and sleepy. I knew that was because there was too much CO2 , but I didn't knew how scary it was. My teather told us when we had a BarBQ, it  was like we smoked 600 cigaretters. I told grandpa and he said we won't have a BarBQ this year.

There was another happy accident at my house. My peacock fish is  having a new baby now. It was so cute and little.

The new 9 - 1 ( M )

Today is the first day of our new school year. I am so sad, after all, my friend, Jo Jo, changed to another school in Ping-Dong. That was because they moved to there. Her brother didn't do the test well, so he couldn't get in any good school over here. I told her my grandma's home is there, too. Maybe next time we can play together.

My teacher told us what lessons we will learn this year. I was so happy that we will learn Chinese history. That does not mean I don't like Taiwan, just because every time Mom asked me where some countries are on the map, I didn't know.

YA! Wait for me Lion King, I was ready to go. There were a lot of people in , after all, it was the last day for the actting. The ticket was very expensive, so many people sat right 3F. I wonder how counld they saw this far. I was the first time to go to the grand place like this. t's was well thenTV.

8.22.2008(F)

This is a last week of our summer vacation. The time went so quickly, and I can't wait to see Lion King. We went to Taipei. I was so happy that my sister Gina finished her important test. We showed Mini and Gina how to play Knock Knock, so we had a delightful night. The only bad thing was I wasn't lucky tonight. My uncle said he invited a lot of buskers to come because we were special VIPs, but I know he lied to us. He took us to a big square, and there were really many buskers. One was the Lion King, and one looked like a Roman soldier. The Roman soldier was funny because he quietly got closer and closer to us, and used the spear to touch our back. When we turned around, he stopped moving. Benny threw 10 dollars to him, and took a picture.

A big wrong

I was so so sorry to Jimmy's friend. This was all because I borrowed a Chinese history book from him. I took it to my grandma's house with me. My mom already told me to be careful, but I still lent it to my aunt. In the morning, Jimmy saw it lie on the stairs and get wet.

It was not on purpose, but it did happen. I asked three bookstores, but that book was out of print, so we just can buy a set of books from the publisher. I was sad even though it was an accident, and I will be careful next time.

The new work

Father wanted us to learn something in summer vacation, so he told us to go to his friend's shop and help them. He gave us resume to write about why we want to have a job, what we will do for the guests, and many things about me. He said it is very important for finding a job.

This was my first job, and it was easy. I gave them their drinks and cleaned up for them, but sometime we were very busy. I am really happy to help the guests. Father's friend is nice, and she gave us free lunch. Besides that we got 30 dollars for an hour!

The island of kaohsiung -

This afternoon we took a ship to an island in Kaohsiung - Cijin Island. We rode bicycles to the beach and a lot of scenic places, and then we went to a restaurant. We met father's friend over there. He invited us to eat with his other friends. Those people are in the same group. They are very friendly and helpful. The group of them sometimes help other poor people and sometimes they just stay together and have fun. There was a grandfather who was using his left hand. He told me to use my right hand to eat and write. He is a new friend of mine, and I had a pleasant dinner with them.

Tobey came back

Tobey came back from America. He brought some prizes for us. I got a bear with candies in its body. Benny got a lot of balloons. Jimmy got the super magic cards. Because he went for a long time,we have a lot of diaries. I was very disappointed that Tobey didn't bring any money. He said we stole all his one hundred dollars. I did remember he said a lot of Chinese, so he needed to give me money soon.

National Palace Museum 7-27 ( S )

Today was our last day here, so we went to National Palace Museum. It looks like the ancient temple, and it has a lot of Chinese things inside. Uncle lended four for us to learned things.It is a funny teacher. To order it you needed to tip numbers. We had lots of funny time with it.
There are too big, and our feet were so Izzy to go ,too,so we didn't walk to everywhere.
After that Mini also took us to the city beach without water, but when we just ready to played the sky was raining.We moved carefully with a tiny umbrella.

A new hairdo 7-26 ( S )

Today we needed to go to a big wedding because the groom is my aunt's nephew. Mini, Gina, and I had a plan for our hair. This was my first time to have a new hairdo, so I was excited and nervous, after all, I always wish I can have a curly hair, but the designer said it just can stay for a short time.
She used the crisper to curl our hair, and then put on some paillette. After that my aunt bought a dashing cloths, and we both wore on them.
When we were on the wedding.The parson who take the picture always took picture of us, so aunt said we weren't lost then bride and groom.

7-25 ( F )

Today we took the highspeed train to my uncle's house, and because of the typhoon, we needed to come back quickly. Mom knew an art exhibit, but there were too many people, so we changed our plan to look at the mammoth. There are two mammoths,Oymiakon and Yukagir mammoth. They came to Taiwan, but they aren't a whole body.
I also learned elephant's history and about their eyes, ears, and teeth. They had small ears just because they needed to save more energy, after all, they lived in a very cold place.
The weather was too hot, so we ate lunch at Subway. In the afternoon, we came to my uncle's house. I am happy that Mini came back.

Story 7-18 ( F )

Today I had an idea from acting out a show with a doll. I thought of a great story and I can't wait to write it as fast as I can, but right now I can't tell you what the story is about.

Typhoon 7-16 (w)

The Typhoon is getting closer and closer to Kaohsiung, so it's raining all day here. I can't go outside, but the rain makes summer become not so hot, and it really cools me off.

Mom curled her hair at the beauty parlor. Jimmy, Benny, and I thought it is funny, and looks like our aunt, but we still like it. The only problem is the smell of the medicine made me uncomfortable.

The turtle island 7.3.2008

We took a ship to Turtle Island today. I was so excited to go by ship. Jimmy and I stayed at the fore deck with my friend. He knows about lots of insects. The teacher said we could see some flying fish jumping on the sea, but the more interesting thing was the scenery of Turtle Island. The turtle's tail can go different ways at summer and winter. Because it was an active volcano, I was afraid of it when I was on there. I also saw the spring over there,but I was happy because not many people can come here.It was an army base.
Today was the day I learned the most things, after all, when we finished the island trip we went to some mountains and learned many plants and animals. I also counted those, and there were almost 50 kinds of creatures that I know.

The snow in summer

Mom said our house is quieter than before, after all, Jimmy and Benny are having a camp in the museum. Jimmy told me to come there, and there is something interesting there that I love. I never went there , so I told him to write a map for me in case of I got lost, but I was still nervous to go by myself.
It was so fun inside. In the morning It was just me, so the clerks who work inside were very nice to me. There was a girl clerk. She told me how to used the science things, and she told me there would be snowing on top of the mountain. It really snowed there. It was okay that it was manmade, because the snow made me comfortable in the summer. I also learned the DNA and many things.
By the time Mom came to ake me, I wanted to play more. She and I went to see the movie about lions, and it was 3D.

A Beautiful city of Taiwan 7.1.2008

We are on a trip of North Taiwan and Turtle Island. We are going with our science teacher, and the purpose for this time is to learn the geography of this place. I went here one time before, but I was too small then. I didn't know how beautiful it was, and the air is very clean, too. In this beautiful city, we learned about the three corners in north Taiwan. The the furthest one north is "Thoo Cwai", and the furthest one east is"Shen Dow". There is a beach between two corners. We also went to an elementary school in a mountain . The thing that made me surprised was the hot spring there. I told Mom I wish my school had a spring like this, too. Oh, and there was a tree house. My science teacher took us around here, and the things I like the best is the gold waterfall and the oil hole from the national park . The waterfall will be gold is because there were a lot of heavy metals inside, but it looks very grand. Our teacher told us to find amphibolites, but I didn't find any of those .

I was very tired at night, but we still had a class, I got a good answer, so I got a circle rock.

YA

YA! I am in summer vacation. I can do anything that I want, and now I am enjoying a cool and surprising game called "Knock Knock”. Jimmy won it at Tobey’s party. I hate the girl friends of my visitors, and I also don't like the bookworm who stole my visitors. I yelled when Benny took away all my points with him, and I was a little angry.

But I still think it is great. Do you want to try and knock on the door? We can't know who it is. Maybe it is a vampires, ghost or death. It will make you jumpy! @ !

To Leofoo Village

Ya! We went to Leofoo Village today and my aunt and two cousins came with us. We had lots of fun there. My two cousins are brave, and they are funny,too.

We took a car in to the goast house and we were a kind of afraid and I didn't want to open my eyes, but right after, we could see and laughed so much. We also played Magic  Rug,saw a  3D movie, rode on a caraousel, and  rode a roller coaster,too.I was so happy that they came with us because we don't live together. This was my first time to go to their house. Jimmy and Benny also slept with them last night.

We went to the little wild zoo, too. The only white tiger in Taiwan was there. There was a new train . We sat on  it and traveled around the zoo, and I took many pictures of animals.

Our thought the was the best game, after all, we can sat together and the bout will went around ,so the purson who sat in fount of the or weterfall will made he or her wet.

Today I don't need to study any more, after all, we are on a trip. The sky might have  know, so it didn't rain. First, we went to Green World. There are a lot of places here. One is a cactus place, and One is   a rainforest place. There are many animals in different parts. I saw a tomato frog, snakes, white and black swans , turtles, and water plants. OH! There was  a Formosan barking deer ,too. I just saw it at the museum before, it didn't have a rail and looked free. I touched it very carefully, and it looked afraid. We also saw the bird show. The are so smart. They also can learn math, and ride a bicycle. My camera didn't take pictures of all the things    because it didn't have energy when I was watching the show.

  Today I saw my poor peacock fish didn't have its tail. Mom said maybe some bad fish ate it, so right now it can't move.   I thought it was so poor. 

I am so happy and excited that we will go to Leofoo village  on the weekend, but it is almost time for   the big test, too.

Today I finished my test. My classmates and I were so excited to go home, but there were some classmates who didn't finish their work. We still needed to wait for them. There were some bad students who were mad at them because they were too slow, and our teacher's helper was playing with the boys, too. So our teacher was angry, but there was someone who still didn't listen to her and said "Teacher be quiet, we are very busy," like they were bigger than the teacher.


We were all so sad because the teacher told us to leave until 12:30. She talked to us as she was almost crazy. She said, "Write your essay until I come, and I will check." She said manners is important than everthing. But I saw those bad kids weren't writing. They were playing and laughing. There were just some badies that didn't do anything . The people with good manners were writing.

Just six weeks  had passed. We are all ready to have a big test.Mom said we will go to the Leofoo village  after I finish the test. I am kind of frightened. Our art class, math class, and team work class have lots of homework to do. I never get the grades like last time, and that was an accident because I had a ping-pong game. My Mom didn't give much pressure  to me,  but some of my friends were giving too much pressure to themselves, so they weren't happy.  Sometimes I played with them.They will make me has lots of pressure.I told my Dad everything that made me felt bad.He was talking to important people, so I thought he didn't care about it, a few seconds later he took Mom and came in to listen to me. I cried for long time and they made me felt good. They wanted me to do the best that I can and don't be nervous.

To name your kids

Our class homework was to name your kids. I thought it was interesting to name my future son and daughter, and to write down why. Piggy and I brought a dictionary to search. It wasn't easy. We found lots of words and tried to put them together. But it was so hard, after all, there were too many words in it. So in the end, I just used the words that I thought.

I named the boy so he would  have a kind  heart , and not too bad. The girl I named her so she would be calm and like a beautiful girl  and a queen.

New families

Mother mumbled I spend too much time watching those fish. She was angry.

We had ten more peacock  fish and some shrimps. The   peacock fish were so tiny.We put them away from  the neon lights to be sure they had food to eat.Right now they became bigger, so we put them together.Their tails were so pretty and colourful.

The shrimps didn't look healthy. They died so quickly,and  their bodies became white and pale. I was so surprised that  the tiny fish ate them.

Neon lights

We have a lot of neon lights in our fishbowl now. They have beautiful colors with red and blue. We also had a puffer to help us ate to the snails, after all, we had too many snails. It's like the sea. I saw  the neon lights always stayed together, but our water weeds were wilt.First I thought the snails did it. But I was wrong. The clerk said they wern't very healthy. I wish they won't die.

My family planed to feed some fish at home because our Blue Imp died.
There are a lot of fish in the fish store. I am a kind of excited to have the new pets.The clerk told us the proper ways to feed those freshwater fish, and waterweeds. He also told us how to use the CO2 can. It can let these plants photosynthesize.
We choose their samples, and they brought the fishbowl to our house. It's as     beautiful as the samples were. Right now we need to wait for 1 week, after all, the fish need a steady and clean place to live.

每當午夜十二點到來,便會有許多來自天界之國的女巫、巫師及小魔女坐著掃把,來到這美麗的海灣賞景。他們偶ㄦ喜歡從天上往下觀察一些似棉花糖狀的物體。那些不明飛行物有的飄浮在天合地之間,有的ㄧ碰就散開
真是奇怪?下面的世界到底是什麼樣子呢?

Exercise 4.14.2008

It was a wonderful exercise day, but Jimmy couldn't come with us because he has a test. Benny, father and I went to Ping-Dong very early. Father's office worker and we were a team. We played lots of games. My favorite is Ball player.We take the ball and go around and come back.Then give the ball to another one. The only bad thing was we didn't win. I went to rock climbing, too.Here is a good idea, " Don't look down. " We were very tired when we came home.

The healthy dinner 4.13.2008

Today I planned to study my homework and watch TV, but my father said he wanted to bring us to a special place. I was so unhappy because he ruined my plan. He took us to a healthy restaurant that his friend told him.    I thought their things were too expensive, but father said they were good. I remembered one called Taim- Ma. It can made you smart, so Jimmy, Benny, and I ate

 very much. Their boss is a health teacher, and he taught us many things about food.

Tomb Sweeping Day 4.4.2008

We didn't need to go to school because today was Tomb Sweeping Day, and I didn't have any tests. We went to Pingdong in the morning. Our uncle came to the old home too, but my aunt couldn't come, after all, she was sick. We went to our family's graveyard and prayed.There were a lot of my relatives and new cousins over there, but I didn't know them because I didn't often go home. The weather was too hot, so we bought lots of ice cream, and Jimmy, Benny, and I had a very fun day. We had a large incense stick, my granduncle wanted me to bring it around.My father was so angry, after all, I seared two dots on his car.

After the test 3.26.2008

I was so amazed when I knew my points. Today my teacher told everybody my average is 98. I couldn't believe what I heard because I lost classes for one week. My teacher said, " The points are not the best thing, the important one is how do you study?" and she used me to give them an example.

ping pong tournament

We are at Nantow now. It's hoter then my home over here. The gym class's student are very nice  and friendly to me, I met two good friends. It's so great here! We will live here for five days. There isn't any TV or refrigerator,                                                                                        after all, it's just a little farm without animals, but there is a large place for grass          sledding.
           

Today I was learning about people that invented Chinese words.  The first person is Choing Jain. We also learned the six ways how they made Chinese words.  I think it is kind of hard, but a little fun.  The ancient people were so smart.  

The last 2 weeks

It's almost the time for my big test. I just have two week to study because I will go to the ping-pong tournament with the gym class's students soon. I am so nervous after all my teacher didn't finish the lesson, and I will lose the class, but I am excited too because we are going to Nantow for one week. Before It's hard to choose to go there or not, but my Mom told me to go. She said "Maybe this was the only time for international tournament, and I can learn to plan my time, too.

No TV Days

Tobey said TV will make people stupid because you don't use your brain to think and learn things, so he doesn't like to watch it.
Before I liked to watch it very much, but right now I think it was too bad. I shook Tobey's hand and promised I won't watch TV execpt for Sunday for a half hour show, after all it is too hard to change your habit.
